37 Week Bumpdate

37 WEEKS!

I decided to post weekly now as we are nearing the end!!

Size of baby:  At my last visit ... the doctor predicted 5.5lbs. That was last Wednesday! I am anxious for Thursday to see if there is any more progress on my end :) I am sure Jude is growing as my tummy expands....

Symptoms: MAJOR braxton hicks like for hours at a time and then they stop.... a little pain in my lower abdomen but not the real deal yet.

Cravings: Spicy food? Okay, maybe it was just to try and "induce" in another way. Ha did NOT work and I was miserable....

Joshy in the carseat/stroller box being a funny daddy!

Something you Miss: Honestly - I just want to have our son. :) I am really, really learning patience.

Milestones: Final baby shower and we were blessed beyond measure! Able to get all the final things we need... now we are ready for a baby (i think!) :)

Looking Forward To: JUDE! Labor and Delivery... may sound weird but all the stories, all the knowledge... I am ready for our own experience!

Prayer for our baby this week:
Dear Lord - You know me in the inmost being. You knit me together in MY mothers womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made and so is our sweet Jude. I am really struggling with patience these days and trusting your timing. Please help us to rely on you and trust you in this time as we anxiously wait to welcome Jude into our family. Protect his sweet little body during labor and delivery - and allow him to grow, grow, grow for as long as he needs. We love you Lord and again just stand in awe of who you are and this amazing blessing we have experienced!!

Just a waiting game now. Pregnancy makes you learn so much doesn't it?!

Oh girl, I hear you. He will come EXACTLY when God will have him come and when he is ready. I hated hearing that over and over and over as my junior was 10 days late, but he was perfect when he came out. Besides, I hear they eat and sleep really well the longer they are in there, so... not sure if that is true though. :) So excited for you to have your own story!! How incredible. :)

Oh girl, I remember those days!! My baby boy was super late, and I was having the hardest time waiting, but I was having the hardest time the last 4 weeks. It was literally one of the most trying things that I have ever gone through. I pray for peace for you and enjoyment as you spend time with the Lord, rest, and dream about your new little one! Can't wait for you to hold him and lay eyes on him!!!

Ekk you are so close! Patience is SO incredibly hard the weeks coming up. I tried everything, spicy foods, long walks, walking up and down are stairs. I just wanted to meet our son! I remember the feeling all too well. Praying you have a wonderful rest of your pregnancy and that baby Jude comes soon :)

That is so awesome you are looking forward to your delivery :) I was excited but also really nervous for it, but it was such a wonderful experience-one of my favorite ever I think!! :)
I will pray for you for patience! I remember these last few weeks-they are very hard to remain content while waiting. Before you know it he will be here, Praise the Lord!
