34 weeks along with our first son on Valentines :)
Size of baby: 4.75 or 5 lbs! Grow babe, Grow! Like a cantaloupe size... I hope he's not circular though ;)
Before I continue with this weeks bumpdate... I have to talk about my baby daddy for a few moments :) I love this man so deeply. I love this photo as it depicts the emotions I feel when I get to spend time with him. He is my best friend, confidant, protector and most of all lover! His love for me runs deep -- way past surface level (especially I have seen that in this pregnancy). I am so blessed.
Joshua Mark - I love you so much today and always. Celebrating our love is such a treat and I praise God for a man like you to lead me as my husband. Preparing for Jude with you has been such a joy and you are going to be the worlds best dad!!! Jude is going to look up to you so much and I can't wait to see him because I know he will look a LOT like his daddy :) :)
---- BACK TO THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED BUMP DATE ---
Symptoms: Braxtin Hicks like bizare-oh. I never knew what they were suppose to feel like and just thought Jude was arching his back or something. But one side if not both get really tight on my tummy and they don't hurt just feel crazy.... I guess my uterus is practicing for the REAL contractions.
Cravings: Mmm... I had a roast beef the other day and loved that. This boy loves meat, meat, meat!
Something you Miss: Honestly, I thought about it this week and the one thing I do miss is being able to sleep on my tummy. I never thought I'd say that but at this point I'm remembering that I used too... funny.
Milestones: First Baby Shower yesterday with friends! Put on by our sweet friends Sarah and Emily ^ so so nice. Such a fun time! Another shower on Saturday and Monday. We are blessed!
Looking Forward To: Baby Jude's arrival. I am trying, trying, trying to be as patient as possible but I am getting to the "it's go time" moments... and knowing that it very well could be longer than 6 weeks. Trying to mentally & physically prepare for this blessing that will soon be in our arms!
Prayer for our baby this week:
Jude Mark - today is valentines day! You are our little valentine waiting to be born and we couldn't be more blessed to know that you are developing and maturing in my womb. As I think about the love I want you to know first and foremost it is the LOVE of Jesus. He died for you and us and our biggest prayer is that you would know that from the time you are very little. We pray that you would choose to follow Jesus all the days of your life. We also pray for the delivery of you into this world that it would be smooth and that you would be 100% healthy. A healthy baby boy Jude is what we are anticipating and can't wait to hold you in our arms in 6 weeks. Love you baby boy!
