Jude Mark Thurston will be entering the world sometime in March and we are so thrilled about it. God is so good and what a blessing. :)
Here are some of the fun details from the Big Gender Revel Party....
Since the beginning... I had a "mama" feeling that our baby was going to be a Boy. Josh wasn't sure and didn't want to "pick" ... So I told him to wear pink so one of us would be right! :) I ordered the decals from a gal on etsy and ironed them on our shirts. Too fun!
For the menu we had my cravings.... It was really funny and random. I think everyone liked the roast beef's the most. YUM!
When it came time to dig into the cupcakes... Josh gave a little speech and everyone was dying! :) They just wanted to eat their cupcakes! The cupcakes had the color frosting inside that was going to reveal our baby's gender. The suspense was building...
Finally we said ... 1, 2, 3.....
BABY BOY! JUDE!!!!
We even face-timed in on our iPad's with our family who lives in Seattle.
Jude will be the first grandson on both sides. It is pretty fun and a lot of people thought girl, but I was surprised how many thought our baby was going to be a boy.
The only BUMMER of the evening was I forgot to take a Team Pink vs. Team Blue Photo. SO sad!
Our sweet nieces and cousins for Jude!
My side of the familia!
Josh's Parents and Jude's Nana & Papi!
We sure loved celebrating our little Jude boy! Can't wait to see him in this onesie... I know it is going fast, but I sometimes wish it would go faster :0) I know I won't be saying that when he is born!
We will save the girl name Ruby for another child someday! We praise God for this blessing of life. Week 20 Bumpdate coming tomorrow :)
