18 WEEK BUMPDATE!

18 Weeks of Baby-growing! :) Here's my update...

Size of baby:  A bell pepper... {weighs about 7 ounces}. Grow, Grow little one! Funny, I love bell peppers!

Symptoms: Mostly feeling good, but still occasional pain in my lower back. Yesterday I had little cramps in my lower abdomen... the Doctor said that means my abdomen is just stretching. Making room for the growing little baby Thurston! I have gotten tired when I have long days and need to rest, but overall I am loving the 2nd trimester!!

Cravings: FOOD IN GENERAL! I am always hungry! This is probably a good thing, because my first trimester I lost some weight... Those salty concession stand pretzels with cheese was a big one this weekend. Also - JUST MEAT! Sloppy Joes, hamburgers, etc... give me the beef!

Something you Miss: Being able to bend over or squat down without loosing my balance. Ha! It's real funny when I am doing photo-shoots... I feel so incapable. :)

Milestones: Continual Baby Movements! I feel the baby! It's mostly flutters... but still I love it :) AND getting a body pillow. It has changed.my.life. So helpful in sleeping!
Looking Forward To: THE GENDER REVEAL PARTY! Coming in less than 2 weeks... can't wait to share all about it :) And of course the gender of our babe!

Prayer for our baby this week:

Dear Father, My baby's legs are lengthening this week. It is a miracle how you orchestrate life inside my womb! Thinking of our baby's legs... I think about how I desire for my child's legs to be physically fit and strong. This desire is because I want him/her to use those legs to follow hard after you! Josh and I pray that he/she will physically walk with you all the day of his/her life - in actions, the places our baby goes, and the things he/she does. Mostly Lord, I pray that spiritually our child will make choices that honor and please you. The "narrow" road isn't always easy but as parents to Baby Thurston I pray you will use us to guide this child to your heart. We love you Lord, Amen.

p.s. I can't wait to not have to type he/she... next BUMPDATE WE WILL KNOW THE GENDER! :)

so cute! Food definitely changed for me in the second trimester! I was eating like a horse!

And I'm sorry to say, bending over only gets harder. Hubby won't hardly even let me lean over and pick anything up! ha!

You look wonderful! I can't believe you are already 18 weeks.
If you have a Sam's Club where you live, you need to go to their food place and get a big pretzel! I had no idea they even existed until I was pregnant and someone clued me in-they are the best thing ever and only like $1!!
