Here's my 16 week bumpdate! 16 weeks!

Size of baby:  An avocado {weighs about 3.5 ounces} Really starting to "pop"... especially in the evenings, woah!

Symptoms: Just some tired-ness and lower back pain. All associated with trying to do TOO much because that is what I am used too :(. I have been doing several lower-back exercises to strengthen my back because I hardly have that much weight gain so I really need to prepare for when I have a watermelon for a tummy :0)

Cravings: WAFFLE FRIES! Yummmmm with seasoned sour cream, so delicious! Thanks Hubb!

Something you Miss: Sleeping on my back... apparently it is not good in pregnancy. Not sleeping on my tummy is fine, but I always used to sleep on my back (maybe that's why I have back problems?)

Milestones: Thinking I felt the baby move! It felt like little rumbles... can anyone confirm? :) I have asked several other recent mama's and they said that's how they first felt their baby! Ah! I love it!

Looking Forward To: ULTRASOUND SO SOON!!!!!! :) I can't wait to find out if we have a baby girl or baby boy Thurston!!

Prayer for our baby this week:

Dear Father, You are the giver of every perfect thing... we praise you! Preparing for this child you have given us is a great responsibility and we do not take it lightly. Please help us to never forget the amazing blessing you have given to us, even when hard times come! We pray for our Baby Thurston, please keep him/her safe in the womb and that as the process of growth continues you would perfect our child to be whole and healthy. You are a faithful God, we love you! Amen.

you are gorgeous & glowing! and I love your prayers!

I would definitely say a little rumbling may be your precious babe moving around...I wasn't positive until I felt this MAJOR kick one evening! It won't be long before his/her movements are VERY noticeable!

Yay for a little bump!
I was a back sleeper too. It was really hard not to sleep on my back but I think I just got used to it because now that I can again, I find myself rolling to my sides, so I bet you will get used to it in no time :)
My baby's first movements felt like little flicks...I bet that is baby you are feeling! there will be no denying it soon enough!

You look fab! I wouldn't worry too much about the back sleeping right now--I know they say it's best to sleep on your left side & to stay off of your back. But, like you, I enjoyed sleeping on my back, so I found myself awakening on my back frequently. Once you get to your 3rd trimester or so, you physically won't be able to sleep on your back for much more than a few minutes without waking up automatically due to the discomfort, so don't worry too much about it now ;)

I so hope you are enjoying this time! It goes by far too fast--cherish it!!

You look great!! Looks like we are due right around the same time!! I'm a back sleeper too, the only thing that helps is sleeping with a pillow behind me and one between my legs, so that if I do try and roll onto my back its not flat on my back!! Congrats, your newest follower
