GOOD Friday!!!

This seems like it has been a pretty longggg week. Maybe getting up early has made it seem longer? I have been working 7:30-2:00 and it is sure nice getting off at 2pm! What an awesome change of pace. However, it has thrown my routine off a little.

Before talking about the fun weekend plans... and what this weekend REALLY means... Last night was a fun double date kind of evening with Jonna & Kyle and my handsome hubby of course. We went to the MOA to meet with the photographers for my sisters wedding. Fun!! I love the Mega Mall!

Jonna and I were being silly. It was fun just walking around and We ate at such a cool place in the food court... callled...

Ever heard of it? So delish and healthy. We had gyros wrapped up and they were sooo yummy. I wish this place existed closer to us. Or maybe not, that'd be too tempting.

EASTER IS THIS WEEKEND! HE IS RISEN!

I have talked about Easter before and the significance this "holiday" has. Don't you find it interesting that two of the MAJOR holidays are in essence to celebrate God! I think that is signiificant.... The world recognizes that he is WORTH celebrating! I am blessed this year to have the HOPE of salvation and I really am praying that this weekend others would experience that too!

You know, I was talking with someone at work just yesterday. He was blaming religion for the problems of this world and I of course couldn't just listen and be quiet. I spoke up and said, you know I'm pretty sure PEOPLE are the cause of a lot of it. How sad that we/others clump religion in a box with problems. It broke my heart, I of course invited him to church and pleaded  asked him to give church ONE MORE TRY!! I wish he would have said yes... unfortunately... he said "That's not for me". So, I will continue to pray for him and ask that God would work in his heart in a way that only he can.

Last Easter we celebrated with my parents... this easter we will be with Josh's family. Rotating holidays is hard, but I am looking forward to it regardless. Actually, my parents will be just down the street. We will probably still see them! :) Can't wait to post stories and photos from a beautiful celebration this weekend!

It's FABULOUS FRIDAY TOO! Here is the linky....

It makes me SO sad when I hear others put religion down. Religion is the one area where they push others to do good - how can THAT bring evil? SO with you on that Ria! Happy Easter deary - HE IS RISEN!!!

Rotating holidays is hard! I often did not have a great attitude about it and now I look forward to any holiday spent with any family (maybe in 2013?!)

I will be praying for your friend too that they give church one more try, I have so many people in my life that I pray for daily to welcome Christ into there lives. All we can do is love and pray for them.
