But it's worth it.

Josh and I have grown leaps and bounds in our marriage. Marriage is SO interesting... you can think you REALLY know someone and then get married to them. It is so beautiful!! I love that Love is SO worth it. :) Being married is truly a gift and I don't take it for granted. My husband is perfectly tailored for ME!

If you've been around here long enough... you know I am drawn to Francesca Batestelli's music. Her latest CD - Hundred More Years is amazing. Here is my favorite song (at the moment)

Love's not a feeling
Love's not convenient
But I know love will change your life
Love takes sacrifice
Love cuts like a knife
Sometimes love will make you cry
Love's not easy
But it's worth it
Love is a hunger
But love won't leave you empty
See it's the language of the heart
Love can steal your pride
But love won't let you hide
It takes everything you've got
Love's not easy
But it's worth it
What you gonna do when the bottom falls out
And you're left with nothing but your fear and your doubt to hold to
Who will hold you?
Where you gonna run when it's all on the line
And you're looking for someone to save your life
To save your life
Love can hear you
Love can heal you
If you let it inside
Oh, remember now
Love's not easy
But it's worth it
What you gonna do when the bottom falls out
And you're left with nothing but your fear and doubt to hold to
Who's gonna hold you?
Oh, where you gonna run when it's all on the line
And you're looking for somone to save your life
To save your life
Love can hear you
I know love will heal you
If you let it inside
Oh, remember now
Love's not easy
But it's worth it

Love is so worth it. Every minute, every trial, every joy, every obstacle. What area of your life is needing that reminder today? Your marriage, your family, your workplace...

'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud." 1 Corinthians 13:4

This is so true Ria! When our relationship/marriage was tested. I kept reading that reading over and over. LOVE is the most important thing, hand in hand with forgiveness. Noone is perfect.

Hey! I love this post! Marriage has been on my heart --especially lately. I am taking a class at my christian university called Human Sexuality. My husband, Mason, and I have really opened up and changed the way we view about intimacy in marriage. My last post was about this. hope you stop by and it impacts your heart as well. :)Thank you for sharing!

I love this! Thanks for sharing, Ria. :) I was just about to blog about MY current favorite song by Lisa Gungor, "From the Ground." It is ALSO about fighting for love.
