Journal Entry

Today, I am going to treat my post as a journal entry. I got the greatest devotional in my stocking from my dear hubby. It is called: Jesus Calling (Enjoying peace in his presence) 

The entry for Today, January 6th said this (it is as if Jesus is speaking right to us!):

"I am able to do far beyond all that you ask or imagine. Come to me with positive expectations, knowing that there is no limit to what I can accomplish. Ask My Spirit to control your mind, so that you can think great thoughts of Me...." (Sarah Young, pg. 7)

As I sit and reflect on those words... my heart is so ready!! God you do work and accomplish far more than we could imagine (Eph 3:20). That is especially dear because it is one of Josh and my life verses. I know that when we enter our day-to-day relationship with you in that expectation we WILL see big things happen. I am so in awe of that. My mind is an area I struggle with because my thoughts can often be ALL over the place. I give that rightful place to YOU. I do pray for help that the Holy Spirit WILL control my mind. Jesus, my desire for 2011 and always is to think thoughts about you that give you GLORY, HONOR & PRAISE. Jesus, I love you. I want to do your will more than anything. Have your way!
