When your heart breaks…

I recently discovered something that broke. my. heart. It’s a story of a young man I know from my year-long internship, The Honor Academy. I am late on the knowledge of the situation, but still feel SO, SO terrible.

The details do not matter, but what it comes down to SIN and the TERRIBLE NO GOOD ENEMY. Yet, it was a choice.

This song has been on my mind consistently lately… and it is an amazing reminder. That regardless of what happens, what sin messes with people. GOD’S LOVE. THATS WHAT WE ALL NEED!

Would I love You enough to let go
Or would my love run dry
When You asked for my life
Father of love… you can have me!

What is breaking your heart today?? This situation is surely not the ONLY one out there… Everyone experiences crazyness, sin, terrible situations that make NO sense at all! Be encouraged and know that his love IS ENOUGH!

Going to work and leaving my daughter breaks my heart every single day

Great thoughts...I hate those situations where Satan has obviously just taken control. It makes my heart break, wishing I could do something more...unfortunately prayer is normally the only (of course still good) help I can provide.

Today my heart was breaking when I met a student and his mom at back to school night. The mother and the five year old have bipolar disease, the little boy is also diagnosed with so many other ailments. They have no car, no money for school supplies, no money for medicine. Life just doesn't make sense sometimes...but it sure makes me thankful for everything we've been blessed with.

I can so identify with this, especially with my old honor academy friends. But in general my heart breaks for the amount of compromise I see people willingly letting in there lives. I have shed many tears.
