SO full and SO fun!

How were your weekends?? Mine felt like it was a full week of activities, but I loved EVERY minute of it!

There is something about friendships that are SO sweet and SO fun! We had friends over on Friday night that we hadn’t seen in months… it was just like old times :)

No pictures, sadly! BUT! It was still so wonderful to celebrate there homecoming (they were in Venezuela for a semester abroad).

Saturday, oh Saturday. The weather was not my friend in the morning. Down pour, ugly, sad…. but it turned gorgeous and we had a BEAUTIFUL Something Blue Bridal Shower for these three beauties:

HA_BridalShower029 Heidi, Kylie, Tara

HA_BridalShower019 There were SO many hugs exchanged, it was beautiful!

HA_BridalShower031 All the lovelies that could attend… SO much life and love. We missed our other HA North Women. :) Someday we will all be together again. Really, truly!

HA_BridalShower048 Here I am with Liz & Kathy. They were amazing co-hostess’s. There is NO way the shower could have happened without their help! Love you ladies!

If you can’t already tell… I am a parties girl. I LOVE planning, throwing and hosting parties. I can get myself in a bit too deep at times, but it is SO worth it. I am SO refreshed after the parties that it makes it all completely worth it.

Josh and I had a date night after the festivities and ended up at Ikea and the Mall of America. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe and enjoyed just being together!!!

Sunday was another amazing day. We had Service Sunday at Church and had the opportunity to pack lunches and feed the homeless. We drove around and gave out bag lunches. How precious is this picture?

joshfeeding Josh sharing the love of Jesus in a tangible way with this man!

OH! It gave us SO much joy and we wonder why we don’t do that more often? We must! It is soooo rewarding and can you imagine being SO hungry and someone offering you food in the name of Jesus? Wow!!

After the amazing time of serving…. it was to the park we went… the rain stopped… the sun came out and so did the HUMIDITY!

Family Pictures for the Roland Family. Tyler Roland is my sister-in-law’s boyfriend… so it is his sweet family that wanted some updated family pics. Here is one so far… more to come!

Rolands_0115vintage Yep! 9 members in the family :) 4 are adopted… so sweet!

Oh so lovely! After that adventure… Josh and I crashed for a nice long nap and had Bre & Dana over for a movie night later on. Let the fun times keep going…

Phew! Now it’s Monday and onto planning more parties ;)

The update on our car situation is that we have a SWEET rental car and the repairs are underway. Insurance is so nice to have! So thankful for the other company and the $$ they are paying. We have to pay $0.00. Praise the Lord!

Happy Monday--- Enjoy today, it only happens once!

The shower sounds like it was fun. You have such a big heart with all that you and your hubby do. I'm not much of a party girl, but I bet you’ve figured that out by now ;) Take care.
