It was that good…

Our weekend WAS that good! It was WONDERFUL. We always just cherish the Friday – Sunday days of the 7day week. Mmm yes!

My mama is a Art teacher for Kindergarten through 8th grade students at a private Christian school. (She was MY art teacher too)! Each year she has an art show and it was this FRIDAY. Another very successful time and we loved being able to attend! She is hands down the BEST art teacher there is ;) I may be a bit biased…

Friday night Joshy and I had a date night to a new restaurant by our home:

Mmmm it was amazing! So AMAZING that we were full when we woke up on Saturday morning. Build your own burgers WITH waffle fries! How can you go wrong??

Saturday was a beautiful day of grocery shopping, cleaning and relaxing. We had Josh’s family over for “Make your own Kabob” dinner on the grill.

These were some of the ingredients… Not pictured: green/red peppers and the steak and chicken. Mmm, it was fun! We grilled these bad boys and enjoyed a meal together and then…

GAME TIME.

Rook (card game) was sure intense and I was learning the ropes from the pros! It was my first time playing. Yikes! Anyone else play rook? It is crazy!

Sunday we had another FULL day! Church was wonderful (as always!) and then the youth had a Spaghetti Lunch and Silent Auction. Delish and FUN! They were raising $$ for the missions trips coming up this summer…

Josh and I bid on a several items and came away winning:

Hotel stay at the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis & Biaggi’s Gift Card! Woo hoo!

All for a good cause and SUCH a blessing for us to have a date weekend out of it. Looking forward to that… :)

Sunday night the youth group had a PHOTO scavenger hunt. Anything photo related… I’m in! Here was my cute group:

We had to get a photo with a church member that was not participating… here is one of the 9th graders, Jared. So silly! We made some fun memories and I loved hanging out with Adelyn, Kassie, Alyssa, and Becka! You girls are SO stinkin cute!
