Easter Time is Near

resurrection

Easter… What does that mean to you??

Bunnies? Plastic eggs? Dyed eggs? The Resurrection? Hmm… Yes, the resurrection! That is the real meaning. The real deal!

Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

He died on a cross for OUR sins. Jesus Christ did this for YOU and ME. He took our dirty sins and they were nailed to that cross. What a relief! I am soooo very thankful that I am FORGIVEN. Can I get an Amen??

The best part was that HE ROSE AGAIN. 3 days later! There was a glorious resurrection and how beautiful it is to know that Jesus is ALIVE. cross source

“He's not a baby in a manger anymore. He's not a broken man on a cross. He didn't stay in the grave-- And He's not staying in heaven forever!”

I love the lyrics to this song by Misty Edwards. It’s titled “People Get Ready”

It is so true! I encourage you to listen to this song here.

Easter is near… I am reflecting on all that this means today. We are going to Good Friday Service tomorrow night, Can’t wait!

Amen! It's amazing to know that, through all of our transgressions and shortcomings, God still forgives us and even gave us His son so that we can live eternally.

I'm so with you on this! Jesus is really the reason for the season! I hate when people loose sight of what the true reason of holidays are about. Christmas, Easter.
