Easter Photo Recap!

Hey Ya’ll! I am FINALLY going to give you the Easter Update… only a couple days late :)

007We had a lovely weekend of celebration! Friday was an amazing Good Friday service and then we spent time with Josh’s parents and family!

On Saturday we celebrated Bob & Bev Thurston (grandparents) because they turn 80 this year! Woo Hoo! It was fun to see the “Thurston” side and eat some delicious cake!

Sunday was my FAOVORITE HOLIDAY… Easter. Resurrection Sunday! Preach it! Such a good message and I loved seeing Church SO full. Salvations, too! :) God is good!

Easter08We spent the afternoon at my Parent’s home for Easter lunch. It was our first Easter as a married couple. Hard to have to “rotate” this holiday, but it’s all good… Loved Seeing Grammy!

HAHA… So I have to explain the ballerina picture :) Ever since we were little girls my sister and I would make Jell-O eggs for Easter. It is tradition. I wasn’t there to help make them this year… but my parent’s have this little cutout of me. Ha, so apparently “I” was there helping ;) They are so silly!

All in all celebrating the true meaning of Easter was just glorious! Spending time with our family is always a plus too!

Easter14Oh and FUNNY STORY… On our way to church I told Josh I had a feeling SOMEONE would be wearing the same dress as me (I mean it was just from Khols, one of the least expensive most known clothing stores…). And I was right… a cute 6th grader and I had matching dresses on. Embarrassing? Not really. Funny? EXTREMELY!

Springtime giveaway is still in full bloom (pun totally intended) … going on through Friday!

Happy Wednesday!
