Why you ask? Well, because… This is the VERY first time I hung out with my future husband - Joshua Mark.
Yes. At a Baseball Game. Funny story actually… I had NO idea that Josh liked me. My cute friend Em (sitting next to me – long blonde hair) actually was the one asking me to go to this baseball game with her. She invited Josh, Matt, Sam and some others... Well, it turned out to be Josh, me, Em, and Sam (Hi Sam – miss you!).
I did sit next to Josh and we did watch the baseball game. There were some rowdy fans around us, but we had a good time. This was the FIRST time I had actually spent time with Josh outside of a classroom/school setting. He wasn’t so bad ;)
We went to high school together all 4 years and actually spent our afternoons together (2 FULL classes) every day our junior year. Wow. Little did we know what was in store…
By our High School graduation we were definitely dating and definitely in love! Yes, God works in the craziest ways.
Joshua was from a TOTALLY different group than I was, yet the Lord would make a way for our paths to cross and he was starting to write our beautiful love story.
{Married…}
Just a reminder to my sweet single and waiting friends… God is always writing your story. Seriously! It’s the question of are we content with just BEING and SURRENDERING the pen to him?
