Follow! Fun! Footballs!

Follow Friday Round #2 for me! I am thrilled to be a part of this again... thanks to One 2 Try, Hearts Make Families and Midday Escapades! Welcome new and old blogger friends... Blogging has become such a fun treat for me! I am excited to get to know you all!!

Last night My parents, Joshua (my hubby!), Kyle (Jonna's boyfriend), and I went to go see my sister (Jonna) speak at her College ministry. Wowwwwww!!! My sister had a MESSAGE to proclaim! It was powerful and I believe that God used her to speak some really hard truths!

A fun fact about my sister is that she LOVES to do laundry. Not going to lie... I kind of miss that about living at home :) In response to her message about Jonah she had the students write something that they felt was holding them back (or a sin) on a piece of paper. She had a close line set up and clothes pins. As the students came up to hang these pieces of paper...these sins were being "exposed" on this clothes line. It signified that God wanted to make us clean and new, fresh (like laundry). Get it?

It was awesome to see the response... but even cooler to know that God SO wants us to have freedom. He wants to deliver us from the pit of a whale (our desperation) and set our feet on dry land.

Tonight we are going to Acquire the Fire youth event. I am thrilled!! I was a part of Teen Mania ministries for a year-long internship and promoted this event back in 2008. It will be fun to see how this years conference is set up!!

Saturday we are hanging out all day, having friends over for dinner (our engaged friends: Bre & Dana), and a birthday party later on...

Sunday, well, is the Superbowl.... only slightly sad due to the fact our home team [Vikings] won't be represented. It will be fun regardless... and I'll be making these... to bring to our Parent's partay!
