A New Day!

"This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalms 118:24

In light of yesterdays post... today is another new day. I am feeling overwhelmed in a new way. Overwhelmed by the goodness and joy of Jesus! I can't help but feel heartbroken for those in HATI. I can't even begin to sort of imagine what it is like. I can't pretend like I know the feeling.

I can, however, just pray. I can, however, move into action! There are many blogs posting links on how to help and ways ($$ or prayer) that we can go that extra step. I am challenged, but plan to move into action. How blessed would I feel... If that was US in their situation?

I don't like leaving a blog without posting some pictures. Here are my cutsie cousins from Seattle! They are SO much fun. Zoe & Bailey! They were 2 of the flower girls in our wedding. I think they are so sweet and miss them terribly. I think we need to plan a trip to Seattle... reallll soooonnnn!
Last night (despite my un-organized/messy home) I had my sissy over for dinner! I love spending time with her. She has so much wisdom and is a real blessing in my life. Can you see her adorable hair? She just chopped off like 8-10 inches and donated it to locks of love. It is SO cute!!! We look more like twins now (She is 15 months older than me... but we always got confused as twins when we were little!).

Just wanted to share some love with you all today. [excuse the camera-phone quality pics] Happy Thursday!

Hey Mrs. Thurston! :)
I got your comment on my blog. Thank you so much - I'm glad that you like my photography!
In answer to your question...go to 'Layout', then click on the blue 'edit' word in the 'Blog Posts' square. It should open up a new, small page and I think you'll be able to figure it out from there. :) If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask!

Blessings! Say hello to Mr. Thurston. :)

My husband and I had our teens during summer missions last year raise money for some missionaries in Haiti. It just breaks our hearts to see such devastation.

I got help for the "email me" button from this site

Hope it helps!!!

First of all- love that verse! I'm so with you on the Haiti situation- my heart breaks for them and while I think PRAYING for them is of course so powerful I too feel moved to give money as well- anything we can do to help!
you and your sis are so cute- I too have a sister and just adore her- there is nothing like sister time!! :)
