My 21st Birthday!

I woke up on Friday, January 22nd to breakfast in bed from my lovely husband. This is a Thurston Family tradition :) I am fine with that! I was so impressed by his BANANA pancakes and yummy fruit. You can see it in the picture below. It was seriously DELICIOUS... and... he made it all from scratch! He is turning into quite the chef :)

After breakfast, we got ready and it was off to get a manicure & pedicure! My idea of relaxing!! Joshy dropped me off and picked me up - too much estrogen for him :) We spent the rest of the day shopping, going to Trader Joes, and relaxing at home. Then... we got ready for dinner with our families.

At... The Old Spaghetti Factory. A favorite and yummy spot!

My family of course had a cake and surprised me big time! The entire restaurant was looking at us while they sang me "Happy Birthday"...

Look at that cake! It was gorgeous... and Dairy Queen Ice Cream...doesn't get much better!

Here is my darling sissy and Aimee Marie, my niece!

Some of the fun presents... shoe calender... flowers... my nails... birthday cake!

Our Families!

Did I mention what Joshy surprised me with?? A kitchen radio/cd player! I have been wanting one since we got our home... but... I just forgot about it. It was a true surprise! I loved turning 21! Who does not love birthdays? I couldn't imagine!

Excited to post the WINNER tomorrow from the giveaway. I picked using random.org in the presence of my Steph and our family!

The rest of 0ur weekend was fabulous... and we had a houseful for the Vikings vs. Saints game tonight. Yikes! It didn't end in our favor :( A slight disappointment, but it's not the end of the world. So close, yet so far!

See you tomorrow for the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT... The WINNER of the giveaway!

We did good on raising such a spectacular young lady! Sorry we missed the game at your house . . .but then again it was a bummer, so dad just stayed home and cried . . ha ha!
