I Know You're There

Hi All,

I had a great day off yesterday... that was nothing like I planned... :) I love days like that! It is a reminder that we don't have to have EVERYTHING planned out perfectly! Those who had the day off - How was yours?

I spent time with these beautiful ladies

Since high school I have always dyed Em's hair (she is in the front seat). We foil it and highlight in some blonde. I am not at ALL professional, but I find it fun and it blesses her. I also do some of my families highlights too :) Kate (back seat) came with us to lunch. These girls bless my life. They have sweet spirits and are in such beautiful places in life. Love you beauties!

Kate's car got towed, down by the U of M the day before. I thought well, I have the day off... I am more than happy to drive Kate to the impound lot. Well, like mentioned, this happened on Sunday night. We got to the lot (quite an adventure!) and turns out... It was closed. Duh, City Holiday. The reason I was off work in the first place! It was totally fun but my poor darling Kate felt terrible. I had a wonderful time with her in the car... and I kept telling her it was SO worth it. I felt bad for Kate because it is hard to not have a car and wait! She will have to get it today.

[here we all are... a few months ago]

I wanted to leave this post with a song that has been speaking to my heart. I use pandora.com which I explained in another post. You can type in an artist you like and it will give you songs/artists that are LIKE them. Well, this song has come on several times and it is truly incredible. It is a REMINDER that God is there. He cares. In the situations in our lives that seem like just too much. God IS there. In Hati - God is there.

He is working! Be encouraged today and know that God is there!

LOVE that song, Ria!! I use Pandora, too. One of my all-time favorite stations is the Brandon Heath station. You should definitely check it out if you remember :)

I love Casting Crowns -- my hubby & I went on our first date to one of their concerts -- on a Valentine's day a couple years ago!
