Waffle Wednesday

Men are like Waffles.
Women are like spaghetti.

Have you ever heard this saying before? I always laughed when I heard it, because it makes me think of Joshua (my husband for the wonderful new blog readers) as a big, yummy waffle. I love spaghetti & Waffles and I think I have a little of both in me :)

The idea behind this concept is that men compartmentalize details and situations. They process life into some sort of "box" like a waffle. And women, well, we mostly do not... We can do multiple things at once! We are multi-taskers. We have many things on our plate. Kind of like spaghetti?

I guess I should probably read this book...

Has anyone read it? If so... Do comment & Share :)

Ha. Well... This morning Josh and I (he did help me) made Whole Wheat Waffle's. How's that for a tough twister? They were DELICIOUS!

I even found a recipe for Honey Butter! Yum. The picture does not do it justice...
Honey Butter
1 stick Butter
1/4 tsp vanilla

1 egg yolk

1/2 c. honey

Whip softened butter. Add vanilla & egg yolk (not a good recipe for kids & pregnant ladies with the raw egg...) Add Honey gradually while whipping. Makes 1 cup (a little too much for just Joshy and I)

Enjoy & Happy Waffle Wednesday!

Gosh, you're good doing waffles for breakfast! We rarely get past toast and cereal... too pressed for time! I'm looking forward to holiday season for some leisurely brunches!
