Yesterday was a fun, crazy day. So much going on! In between the busy-ness we watched a movie about Christmas. I can not remember the exact name, but I took away some thoughts about The Nativity Scene.
The Nativity is one of my favorite parts of decorating for Christmas. I always get so excited to set out the figurines & make believe and dream about what it would have been like to be THERE. There on the day of Jesus's birth!
This movie (that I can not remember the name of...) had a little boy who also cherished his Nativity Set. When he moved from his previous home to a new one... his Nativity was lost. His mother promised him a new Nativity. They found a gentleman that would carve a new set for him. Incredible!
When he was describing how each part of the Nativity felt to be there on that day he said these things... and I added/modified some...

There are more parts to some nativity scene's... Ours has a shepherd too. He probably was shocked to have been there! I am not sure how I would have felt. Probably overwhelmed. In reality they most likely did not know HOW amazing this little baby was. The SON of God.
