Reflections 09: Planning!

Joshua proposed to me on December 23rd, 2008. We just had our 1 year engagement-anniversary. It was weird to think that one year ago we were only engaged. Eek! I praise Jesus that the 8 months of engagement went fairly fast!
Here are some fun proposal pictures:

As you can Imagine 2009 was a lot of planning! We were planning our wedding for September. I enjoyed every minute of it. There were so many decisions to be made, pictures to look at, websites to create, pre-marriage counseling sessions to attend, invitations to assemble. Oh, the joys!

At times...it was stressful. Yes, it was hard. BUT, I could not loose focus of the reality of Marriage! I was marrying the man of my dreams - Joshua Mark Thurston! I had several friends get married in 2009 as well.

Libby got married on June 27th - Beautiful pictures, below! What a sweet day :)
Gina got married on June 27th.
Marsha got married August 28th.
Katie got Married November 22nd - See here.

I felt like it was the year of weddings, engagements, change, etc.
Here are some of our Engagement Pictures - This was part of 2009!

Ephesians 3:20 "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."

I love all the pictures. Your proposal looks like so much fun! I am so glad we are blog friends and that you can help me stay sane during the planning and focus on the "marriage" as well!!! The wedding is only one day, but the marriage is for life.
