Someday Blog Dreams...

Being new to this whole "Blog" world has really got me thinking... and dreaming... I have so many someday blog dreams now! One blog reader I follow: Kelly's Korner just recently got to go with Compassion International to El Salvador and BLOG about it! They met their sponsor child on the trip... Unbelievable!

One of my dream is that someday we can visit our sweet & beautiful Edith. We've had the opportunity to sponsor Edith through Compassion and she lives in Uganda, Africa. I hope to go as a "Compassion Blogger" with Joshua. Someday.

What a special thing blogging can be. It connects people. It causes us to think. It gives us a "peek" into others lives. It is truly unique. God is all about community. I think God is about blogging! Quick Story: My sister-in-law, Steph and I love talking about our blogs and how excited we are. We were talking about how World Vision has a new program where people can purchase goats for families in other countries. It can change their lives... We talked about how we should put a link or a "gadget" on the side of our blog encouraging this. Well... I come home... look at her blog... Guess what? World Vision just happened to be a google ad posted on her blog that day

See Here:

If you have just been reading my blog, I would love to hear from you! Leave a comment!
If you are a "blogger" - what are your someday blog dream?

Be blessed this Sunday afternoon...

I loved reading this ria. when it got to the part about you guys hearing about buying goats i had to smile. northwestern's student missions fellowship group just started this got goat campaign where as a campus we are trying to raise as much money as we can to buy as many goats as we can. its a really cool thing that is snowballing and i think so many other organizations are gonna join in. just wanted to share that with you. love reading your blogs ri! <3

Ria, you would be amazed if you knew how many ppl read your blog...just thought I'd throw that out there.

Also thought I'd give you a laugh by giving you my "someday" blog dream. I've blogged for over a year about politics and work for a blog http://www.dinksfinance.com but my goal is obvious: to make enough money from blogging to live off of :P

Ria, I don't quite remember how I ran into your blog in the first place. Maybe you put it on Facebook? But I enjoy reading your thoughts. :)

As far as my blog dreams? Hmm...that's hard to sum up. I guess I just hope that eventually more people than just my family and friends will read my blog. I want to make people think by pointing out flaws in some of our "systems" and by reminding people of the beauty of life that they may have forgotten. That's the best way I can put it.

I love being connected this way too, Ria! My "someday" blog dream... is to be an encouragement to other young wives and mothers to be faithful with what God has entrusted to them. Being wives and mommies is such a high calling and I think blogging is a way that we can connect and encourage one another from our little corners of the world :) I love your purpose for your blog as well, I love your desire to display your love for marriage and being a wife. Marriage is such a dynamic part of the heart of God and needs more attention and respect! And blogging is just such a fun, unique way to bring glory to our Jesus!
